Design a more thoughtful way to call
Calling someone is simple. Knowing whether they’re free, why they’re calling, or what you agreed afterwards often isn’t. Taalk brings those moments together: a public profile, useful availability signals, direct and planned calls, and a record of the conversation.
We’re looking for a product designer in Stockholm to help shape that experience across our native app and the web. You’ll work closely with the team on both the bigger product questions and the small details people touch every day.
What you’ll work on
- Design complete journeys, from sharing a profile and choosing how to reach someone to reviewing a call and following up.
- Make availability, scheduling, and call states understandable without adding unnecessary steps.
- Turn ideas into flows and interactive prototypes, test them with people, and use what you learn to improve the product.
- Develop a consistent component system across native and responsive web interfaces, including light and dark appearances.
- Give careful attention to typography, hierarchy, accessibility, motion, and product language.
- Design clear choices around contact details, permissions, and transcription so people understand what they’re sharing.
- Work with engineers through implementation and review the finished experience on real devices.
What you’ll bring
- A portfolio of shipped digital products that shows your thinking as well as the final interface.
- Strong interaction and visual design skills, with experience designing for mobile and responsive web.
- Confidence using Figma for components, prototypes, and collaboration with engineers.
- The ability to simplify complex states and explain why a design works for the person using it.
- Experience gathering user feedback and making considered decisions when the brief is still taking shape.
Experience with communication tools, scheduling, native iOS patterns, or AI-assisted features is useful. We care about clear judgement and craft more than a particular background.
